Pâté Smith is a collection of pop culture inspired recipes and thoughts, drawing food inspiration from music, movies, games and everything in between. Founded in 2015, Pâté Smith is a place where super fans and foodies alike can come together and go down the pop culture rabbit hole. From Pulp Fiction’s $5 milkshakes to MF Doom’s knishes, we believe that if it’s weird and curious to you, we need to make it. Be sure to send us your ideas–we will cook anything (like, for real).
Pâté Smith has been featured in publications ranging from: Yahoo, The Huffington Post, The Daily Meal, Culinary Institute of America, Cool Material, The A.V. Club, The World’s Best Ever, San Francisco Chronicle, Cymbal and more.
When not recreating the perfectly tinted slime or cooking through the latest Action Bronson album, we are working with our alternative music sister site, Mind Equals Blown. We are also avid technology enthusiasts and would go back in time to the 1964 World’s Fair if afforded the opportunity.
Pâté Smith was founded in 2015 by pop culture junkie and food-enabler Christina Troitino. Christina Troitino identifies as a connoisseur of “foods that need rebranding” (ex. chopped liver, spam, prunes, etc.).
Since our founding, we’ve gotten to work with our awesome community of the truest of food heroes and fandom pros. Interested in writing for us or partnering on something awesome? Drop us a line through the form below or shoot us an email!
